    The Courtesan Collective

A monthly community for women whose spark is ready to return

    Lee-ann Cordingley

The historical courtesan was not who you've been told she was.

She was educated. Self-possessed. A poet, a conversationalist, an artist of presence. She knew her body, her mind, and her worth - and she moved through the world very much on her own terms. (And yes, she had an excellent sense of humour. You don't survive that career without one.)

Somewhere along the way, most of us lost that thread.

The Courtesan Collective is a small, intentional community for women who feel their spark has dimmed a little and want more colour, confidence, and connection in their lives. Women ready to explore their sensuality, their self-expression, and their sense of self - in a space that feels warm, supportive, and quietly luxurious.

    It's not a self-help group.
    It's not a wellness programme.

It's a monthly gathering in the courtesan tradition: part salon, part embodied practice, part sisterhood - where honesty, curiosity, and a well-placed innuendo are the house rules, and you're welcome exactly as you are.

    What you get each month

    Live Gathering

One live online gathering - a space to arrive, connect, and be heard among women who get it.

    Guided Session

One guided session - an embodied practice or teaching drawn from yoga, somatics, nervous system work, sensual expression, and the living art of self-possession. Sometimes I'll teach. Sometimes I'll invite guest voices whose wisdom I trust.

    Private Community

A private community forum - for the conversations that live between our meetings. Somewhere to think out loud, ask the questions you can't ask anywhere else, share the small wins.

    Who this is for

Women who sense there's more colour available to them than they're currently living in.

Women drawn to feminine wisdom, embodiment, and the reclaiming of pleasure as a birthright rather than a guilty indulgence.

Women who want the depth of community, the warmth of sisterhood, and the intelligence of a room full of grown-ups who are genuinely curious about becoming themselves.

    The Founding 15

Founding members pay £15 a month, for as long as they stay - locked in, even as the price rises for future members.

In return, I ask for your honesty: tell me what's working, what isn't, what you want more of.

You need to be curious, willing to show up, and happy to laugh with us when something's funny.

You help shape what this becomes.

(Think of it less as beta-testing, more as co-conspiring.)

    About Me

I'm a certified sex coach, yoga teacher, burlesque performer, writer and speaker. But more than that, I help women feel like themselves again - confident, connected to their bodies, and able to actually enjoy their lives rather than just get through them.

My work sits somewhere between grounded and a bit sparkly. There's science, there's nervous system work, there's real conversation - but also a deep belief that life is meant to feel good, not just functional. Play and pleasure matter here. So do filthy laughs.

I don't fit neatly into one box, and that's rather the point. Twenty-plus years in business, and what I bring is the combination: coaching for depth and change, yoga for grounding and body awareness, burlesque for confidence and sass, and the lived experience of being a woman who's done her own work. It lets me hold a space that's both safe and a little bit expansive - where women can soften, and grow, and occasionally say something outrageous.

Years ago I ran a women's circle from my yoga studio. A group of women sitting together, dropping the masks, talking honestly - it forged friendships still going strong seven years later. It changed them. It changed me.
